Due to continued growth, Skalar Analytical is currently recruiting for a Field Service Engineer for Benelux and Scandinavia
Job Responsibilities Installation of analyzer product groups at customer laboratories
Training customers in analyzer operation and maintenance
Performing routine preventive maintenance visits
Responding to emergency service calls and carrying out repairs
Diagnosing faults and implementing effective solutions
Providing comprehensive written service reports
Job Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Engineering, or a comparable technical qualification
Experience in a similar field-based service role is preferred; however, laboratory scientists seeking a field-based position will also be considered
Excellent customer-facing and communication skills
Willingness to travel extensively within the assigned region, including regular overnight stays
Willingness to attend a mandatory six-week initial training program at the Skalar head office in Breda, The Netherlands
A valid driving license is essential

Performs well under pressure
Enjoys extensive travel
