Job DescriptionWe are seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead equipment implementation projects within a GMP-regulated pharmaceutical environment. The successful candidate will oversee the full lifecycle of equipment projects, from vendor management and FAT to installation, qualification, and final implementation at the site in Breda.
Responsibilities- Manage equipment projects from initiation to completion, including planning, procurement, and installation.
- Lead Factory Acceptance Tests (FATs) at external vendor sites and coordinate subsequent delivery and installation at the Breda site.
- Work closely with equipment vendors and internal teams to ensure project milestones are achieved on time and within budget.
- Oversee the qualification process, including Installation Qualification (IQ) and operational qualification activities.
- Coordinate cross-functional teams, including engineering, quality, validation, and operations, to ensure adherence to GMP and regulatory standards.
- Manage project documentation, risk assessments, and change controls throughout the project duration.
- Travel internationally to vendors in Germany, Denmark, and Switzerland, especially during the FAT phase, which may involve intensive travel during June and July 2027.
- Lead vendor negotiations, contract management, and ensure supplier compliance with project specifications.
- Proven experience managing equipment projects within pharmaceutical or GMP-regulated environments.
- Strong background in engineering or automation, preferably from a mechanical or automation engineering discipline.
- Experience leading Factory Acceptance Tests (FATs) and executing equipment qualifications.
- At least 3–5 years in project management with technical expertise in equipment delivery and installation.
- Capable of working independently and leading vendors through technical and compliance activities.
- Must be comfortable working onsite in Breda with flexibility during peak project phases.
This role is Breda-based, with the possibility of relocation. Working hours are flexible and can be discussed, with full commitment required during critical project phases. The position offers a high likelihood of extension due to ongoing project demands.
