Senior Engineer (Mechatronics)

Key Responsibilities

As part of project teams, deploy new products and upgrades of systems as well as new equipment within our state-of-the-art labelling and packaging lines.

Working in projects of different complexity and assuring a high quality deployment with the asset lifecycle in mind.

Be the mechatronics expert for our maintenance and engineering team as well as project teams.

Provide second line support to shopfloor technicians for complex mechatronics problems.

Structurally investigate complex problems relating to process or equipment and assist with recommending and implementing solutions.

Independently plan and execute all maintenance and engineering related tasks in your assigned projects.

Write test protocols, perform technical evaluations, and submit technical assessment reports.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams and vendors (i.e. Equipment Engineering, Automation, Digital, Validation, QA, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, etc.).

Qualifications

Bachelor's or master's degree in the field of engineering, science or related technological field of equivalent combination of education and experience.

At least 7+ years of relevant work experience with 5+ years in operations / manufacturing environment.

In-depth mechatronics knowledge.

Experience in project management techniques, preferably in CAPEX projects

Analytical troubleshooting experience preferred

Direct experience with regulated environment (GMP, OSHA, EPA).

Fluency in English, both in oral and written communication, Basic Dutch skills preferred

Strong interpersonal, communication and stakeholder management skills.
