R&D engineer

As an R&D Engineer, you play a key role in the research, development, and innovation of machines and processes. You work closely with colleagues from engineering, production, sales, and service to translate analysis and ideas into practical, working solutions.
Your responsibilities include:
Conducting, analyzing, and reporting technical research at product and process level
Leading R&D projects from initiation through implementation
Developing, testing, and validating new concepts and prototypes
Solving complex technical challenges in multidisciplinary teams
Coordinating and supervising research performed by external partners
Supporting commissioning activities and resolving technical issues at customer sites
Safeguarding technical knowledge through documentation and knowledge sharing
Keeping up to date through training courses and industry events
Occasional worldwide travel

Your profile
Strong analytical skills and solid technical knowledge in mechanical engineering or a related discipline
Preferably a master’s degree, enabling in-depth analysis of physical systems
Affinity with modeling, simulation, and data analysis (basic Python knowledge is a plus)
Accurate, creative, and solution-oriented way of working
Clear communicator who enjoys collaboration in multidisciplinary teams
Proactive, independent, and able to take ownership
Capable of building effective relationships across different levels of the organization
