Mechanical Systems Engineer

We are looking for a Mechanical Systems Engineer to manage and support critical utility systems, ensuring reliable operation, maintenance, and continuous improvement. You will also contribute to engineering projects involving system upgrades, design, and installation.

• Own and manage utility systems such as HVAC, chillers, and compressed air throughout their lifecycle.
• Support troubleshooting and unplanned maintenance activities.
• Improve maintenance procedures, preventive maintenance tasks, and system reliability.
• Conduct Root Cause Analyses (RCA) and implement corrective actions for recurring failures.
• Act as the system owner for Maximo CMMS.
• Collaborate with project managers and engineers on system upgrades and installation projects.
• Ensure projects meet required quality, budget, and timeline standards.

• Degree in Engineering, Science, or a related technical field, or equivalent experience.
• Experience with utility systems, preferably HVAC, chillers, or compressed air.
• Knowledge of low-voltage electrical systems (NEN 3140) and building management systems is a plus.
• Willingness to participate in 24/7 on-call duties, approximately once or twice per month.
• Fluent in Dutch and English, both written and spoken.
