Allocation Intern​/Weekend Assistant

About the Opportunity

This internship offers hands‑on experience in a fast‑paced supply chain environment, focusing on allocation activities for the Ridderkerk warehouse in Breda. The role is paid according to the regular salary scale (not a stipend).

Additionally, we are looking for a Weekend Assistant to support the same team, providing a great way to get familiar with operations before beginning the internship.

• Support the allocation of sales orders by assigning pallets based on pack type, quality, and fruit age, in line with customer requirements.
• Monitor and update ETAs of inbound shipments, flagging potential risks to stakeholders.
• Perform daily stock checks and adjust records as necessary.
• Create and maintain overviews for production orders.
• Coordinate with internal teams and external partners to ensure smooth operations.
• Assist the team in adapting plans when circumstances change.

• Proactive and motivated student, currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree (HBO) in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Strong interest in FMCG and operational processes.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to perform well in a fast‑paced, dynamic environment.
• Good communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
• Proactive attitude with initiative and solution‑oriented thinking.
• Experience with Excel is a plus.
• Advanced level of English. Dutch, Spanish, or Portuguese language is an advantage.
