QESH Officer - Rijsbergen

Are you passionate about creating safer, smarter workplaces where people can thrive? We’re looking for an QESH Officer (EHS Coordinator) to join our team in Rijsbergen and play a key role in driving a strong health, safety and environmental culture across site.

In this hands‑on role, you’ll be the go‑to person for all things Environmental, Heath and Safety
, working closely with leadership and employees to ensure compliance, reduce risk, improve processes, and keep safety front and centre in day‑to‑day operations.

• Acting as the on‑site expert for health, safety and environmental matters
• Execute EHS Plan/Program projects as directed by the EHS Program Manager (linked to any customer requirements)
• Driving incident reporting, investigations, root cause analysis, and corrective actions
• Coordinating risk assessments and helping implement site‑specific safety measures
• Supporting emergency response planning, drills, and site preparedness
• Tracking EHS performance data and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives
• Helping build an engaging, proactive safety culture across the operation
• Coordinate and conduct EHS inductions and site specific safety training for all employees
• Coordinate the closure of all EHS observations and actions, including Root Cause Corrective Actions (RCCA) and those stemming from Leadership Walks
• Maintain records in accordance with ISO
  9001 standards

• Experience in an EHS / HSE / SHEQ / Safety Coordinator role, ideally within logistics, warehousing, manufacturing, or a fast‑paced operational environment
• Strong knowledge of health and safety compliance and operational risk management is essential
• Confident handling incident investigations, audits, and corrective action tracking
• Strong communication skills in English, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels – Dutch is desirable
• Proactive, organised, and comfortable working independently on site
• Experience delivering training or inductions is highly desirable
• Excellent IT skills including Microsoft 365
• Own transport required
• An annual basic salary of between €3581 - €4500 Gross per month, depending on experience plus performance related bonus, company Pension
