A health system operating across four campuses seeks locum tenens coverage for consultation-liaison psychiatry services, with two psychiatrists needed to support the C-L team. The facility maintains dedicated clinical support staff, including C-L APPs, an ED psychiatry team, social workers, and psychiatric liaisons, to ensure continuity of psychiatric care delivery.

Chicago offers a range of attractions suited to varied interests, including the lakefront Navy Pier and its Centennial Wheel, the Shedd Aquarium, Millennium Park, and the Willis Tower Skydeck. The city is organized into distinct neighborhoods, each with its own character, and supports outdoor activities such as kayaking, biking, and jogging along its trails and waterways. Clinicians on assignment may also explore cultural institutions, take boat tours on Lake Michigan, or enjoy the city's well‑known culinary offerings.

Clinicians in this role will provide full‑time inpatient consultation‑liaison psychiatry services for an adult population, working 8‑hour day shifts with a flexible start time of 8:30 or 9:00 AM, totaling 40 hours per week on‑site. Clinical responsibilities include psychiatric evaluations, medication management, and treatment planning within a structured team model that includes dedicated C-L APPs, a separate ED psychiatry team, social workers, and psychiatric liaisons across a four‑campus hospital system.

No overnight call is required for this assignment; day call and rounding apply when working either a 1:4 or 1:6 weekend schedule. Call requirements are negotiable.
