Bi-vocational Pastor

Faith Baptist Church is searching for a Bi-vocational or Interim Pastor.

We are located in Breese, IL (pop. 5,000) and 40 miles east of St. Louis, MO. We are a small church, having declined in the past few years due to our pastor's resignation and COVID-19. We have a beautiful church building and property and the church is debt free.

We are seeking the Lord's leading in breathing new life into our church and reaching out to our community with the Gospel of Christ.

Our ideal candidate:

• must possess a strong commitment to build a growing, effective church
• will help us grow spiritually and numerically to be a vibrant witness that will attract people to Christ
• should be able to lead us in becoming more effective in discipleship and outreach of the lost, and translating Christ into our local culture
• should have a shepherd's heart for both the church body and the community
• will continue to lead Faith Baptist Church as an active member of the SBC, IBSA, and our local Kaskaskia Baptist Association and adhere to the BFM
