About the Role:

As a RN Wound Nurse with Evercare of Breese, you will be responsible for providing comprehensive wound care services to patients with complex wound needs. Your duties will include:

• Providing wound assessment, debridement, and dressing changes
• Developing and implementing individualized wound care plans, collaborating with interdisciplinary healthcare team members
• Monitoring patient progress, making adjustments to treatment plans as necessary to ensure optimal outcomes
• Educating patients, families, and caregivers on wound care techniques and strategies
• Maintaining accurate and detailed records of patient care and treatment outcomes
• Participating in quality improvement initiatives to improve patient care and outcomes
• Collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care transitions

Requirements:

To be considered for this role, you must have:

• Current RN licensure in the state of Illinois
• Experience in wound care or a similar healthcare setting
• Strong understanding of wound care principles, including assessment, treatment, and management of chronic and acute wounds
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
