Job DescriptionThe Registered Respiratory Therapist performs Cardiopulmonary duties in accordance with hospital policy/procedure under general supervision. This can include administering of respiratory treatments, airway management, ventilator management, blood gases, and other noninvasive cardiology procedures. This individual will be held to a high level of customer service representation and will be an active participant in the continuous quality improvement process. Serves as a resource to other employees.
EducationHigh School Diploma or GED
ExperienceThree years of related experience. Requires working knowledge of specialized practices, equipment, and procedures.
Licenses & Certifications- * ACLS Certification
- * Healthcare Provider (CPR)
- * Pediatric Advanced Life Support
- * Registered Respiratory Therapist
- * Respiratory Care Professional
- * Must become certified in PALS and ACLS within 8 months of employment.

Shift DescriptionEmployee will work every other weekend. Call is taken 3 times per 6-week schedule. Holidays are rotated. This position requires cross-training at the Villa Rica Tanner Medical Center location.
