Naval Hospital Bremerton (NHB) is a United States Navy hospital located on Naval Station Bremerton in Bremerton, Washington. ResponsibilitiesCounsels employees on workplace hazards and exam results; notifies management of exam results and recommends appropriate work restrictions or accommodations. Applies new procedures in evaluating and treating complex work-related cases and conducts research for program advancement and quality improvement. Interprets ancillary test results for occupational disease or confounding conditions (e.g., CBCs, chemistry panels, renal/hepatic/toxic/metabolic conditions, pulmonary function tests, EKGs, X-rays, audiograms).
Diagnoses and follows up on conditions discovered during examinations; evaluates and treats on-the-job illnesses and injuries and stabilizes and transfers urgent cases. Documents all examinations and treatments in health records. Participates in continuing education to maintain skills and knowledge.

- Board Certified/Eligible
- Doctor of Medicine or Doctor of Osteopathy from a U.S. or Canadian school approved by a recognized accrediting body at graduation. A Doctor of Medicine or equivalent degree from a foreign medical school may be demonstrated by permanent certification by the Educational Commission for Foreign Medical Graduates (ECFMG) or another recognized pathway.
