Where Potential Meets Purpose

We are currently seeking a highly motivated Mechanical Project Engineer to join our growing A/E team in Bremerton, WA. In this role, you will work directly with our Lead Mechanical Engineer and department leaders across the firm.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering.
  • 1 to 6+ years of experience designing HVAC, plumbing, and fire protection systems.
  • Experience coordinating with interdisciplinary teams.
  • Experience with Revit and AutoCAD.
  • Experience with HVAC load calculation software.
  • Trace 3D experience is a plus.
  • Familiarity with state and federal codes and industry standards.
  • LEED or WELL certification is a plus.
  • Leadership or management experience is a plus.
  • Experience with federal design work and federal projects is a plus.
Job Duties and Responsibilities
  • Perform mechanical design tasks, including HVAC load calculations, building code compliance checks, design calculations, space planning, equipment layouts, ductwork and piping designs, and specification editing.
  • Verify compliance with building codes, energy codes, and various standards.
  • Visit project sites to gather design information and document existing conditions.
  • Maintain focus on design details and deliver high‑quality design documents.
  • Communicate effectively with the internal design team and clients.
  • Assist with any required tasks and take ownership of the mechanical design scope.
  • Coordinate and manage a small mechanical team to meet project deadlines.
  • Participate in industry activities and organizations, and develop peer relationships and technical growth.
Essential Functions
  • Sitting at a desk and working on a computer for prolonged periods.
  • Ability to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
  • Occasional travel to various project sites for field investigation and construction inspection (20%).
  • Authorization to work in the United States is required.

Salary Range

$80,000 – $120,000 annually, depending on experience and qualifications (DOE).
