About the Role
Youth Mobile Crisis Outreach Mental Health Professional (MHP) – 30 hours per week
CompensationHourly rate: $32.53 – $40.67 per hour
Shift differential up to $6.00 per hour
Sign‑on bonus: $7,500 (quarterly bonus schedule)

- Dynamic, collaborative team environment where every voice is heard and ideas are valued
- Advocate for youth access to behavioral health, substance use, and wraparound services to promote long‑term stability
- Provide immediate crisis intervention and resolution throughout Kitsap County, working within a collaborative team environment
- Conduct face‑to‑face crisis assessments with DCRs, CPCs, and other MCOT members
- Assess and ensure the safety of clients, the community, and staff during crisis outreach
- Use de‑escalation techniques and crisis intervention strategies to stabilize clients in the least restrictive environment
- Coordinate with law enforcement, medical personnel, social service agencies, and family members to develop appropriate crisis intervention plans
- Maintain knowledge of Washington State ITA laws (RCW 71.05 & 71.34) and other crisis intervention regulations
- Provide education and support to clients, family members, and community partners on accessing behavioral health and substance use services
- Develop and implement individualized safety plans and least restrictive alternatives for crisis resolution
- Ensure timely and accurate documentation of crisis interventions in compliance with agency and regulatory standards
- Participate in team meetings, clinical case reviews, and ongoing training to enhance crisis response effectiveness
Education: Master’s Degree in Psychology, social services, or behavioral health field (or meet RCW 71.24.260 waiver criteria)
Experience: Minimum 2 years of related experience
Driving Requirements: Must possess a current, valid Washington state driver’s license, meet the minimum age of 21 years, pass a motor vehicle history check, and have reliable, insured transportation
Licensure: Must meet and maintain the definition of a Mental Health Professional as defined in RCW 71.05.020
Preferred QualificationsExperience with adults/youth in crisis intervention, crisis triage centers, acute inpatient units and/or substance abuse treatment centers, and community outreach
