Morrow Health) - Collaborative, Supportive Team Environment
Kitsap Mental Health Services (KMHS) is seeking an SUDP Team Supervisor to support substance use disorder services for adolescents and adults within our Pathways Program. In this role, you will provide clinical leadership while delivering direct SUD treatment and supporting the development of outpatient and intensive outpatient programming. This position offers the opportunity to combine hands‑on clinical work with team leadership in a setting focused on growth, collaboration, and recovery‑oriented care.

- Provide high‑quality clinical substance use disorder treatment, including ASAM assessments, placement recommendations, treatment planning, and counseling for youth ages 13–26.
- Participate in assessing adolescent program needs and contribute to program development and improvement efforts.
- Support adjunctive SUDPs and SUDPTs in coordinating timely, patient‑centered, culturally competent, and age‑appropriate interventions.
- Provide clinical interventions and referrals in collaboration with internal and external providers to meet treatment and level‑of‑care needs.
- Deliver direct services to individuals actively using substances, including individual and family therapy, group therapy, psycho educational workshops, recovery skill‑building groups, and crisis intervention.
- Develop written treatment plans with integrated interventions addressing substance use across the health continuum.
- Apply motivational interviewing, stages of change theory, harm reduction, stage‑wise treatment strategies, and other behavioral interventions as clinically indicated.
- Demonstrate knowledge of co‑occurring disorders and medications used in the treatment of substance use disorders (MAT).
- Monitor compliance with court‑ordered requirements, including LRAs and substance‑related mandates, and complete required legal documentation and reports.
- Conduct random UDS as clinically indicated.
- Manage workload effectively by prioritizing tasks and maintaining productivity standards.
- Support teamwork, collaboration, and a positive work environment to best serve program participants.
Education: Associate’s Degree in Psychology, social services, or behavioral health field
Experience: Experienced (minimum 2 years of job‑related experience)
Licensure: Substance Use Disorder Professional certification. Registered Agency Affiliated Counselor.
Preferred QualificationsEducation: Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology, social services, or behavioral health field.
Experience: Expert (minimum of 5 years of job‑related experience). Experience working with clients with co‑occurring mental illness and substance abuse disorders.
