JOB DESCRIPTION
SUMMARY:
Marina Square Suites is looking for a dependable, hardworking Part-Time Laundry & Houseman to join our team. This position will be approximately 4 days per week: 2 days in Laundry and 2 days as Houseman
.
JOB DUTIES:
- Wash, dry, fold, and organize hotel linens and towels.
- Maintain a clean and organized laundry area.
- Monitor laundry supplies and notify management when supplies are running low.
- Ensure clean linens are available for housekeeping needs.
- Follow proper cleaning and laundry procedures.
- Clean and maintain all common areas of the hotel.
- Keep hotel hallways, lobbies, entrances, stairways, elevators, and other public areas clean and presentable.
- Vacuum, sweep, mop, dust, and sanitize common areas as needed.
- Clean and maintain public restrooms.
- Empty trash and maintain cleanliness throughout the hotel.
- Ensure all common areas meet the hotel's cleanliness and presentation standards.
- Assist with other general cleaning duties as needed.
- Reliable and dependable attendance.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong attention to cleanliness and detail.
- Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull items as needed.
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
- Previous hotel, housekeeping, or laundry experience is a plus, but not required.
- Must have a positive attitude and a willingness to help wherever needed.
- This position requires the ability to stand and walk or sit alternatively depending on the specific needs of the day.
- Occasional need to bend/stoop/squat, climb stairs, push, or pull, and reach above shoulder (cleaning up litter, open doors, pick up and move items)
- Ability to lift/move/push/pull up to 50 lbs. on occasion, frequent need to lift/push/pull up to 50 lbs.
- Demonstrated ability to operate tools and machinery within scope of work

Elevated Property Services may conduct background checks and drug screens for onsite property associates after the conditional offer of employment is accepted, in compliance with applicable federal, state, and local laws. Candidates will be asked to authorize these screenings, and results will be reviewed by our HR representative.
SCHEDULE:- Approximately 4 days per week
- 2 days Houseman
- Schedule and hours to be discussed during the interview.
- Overtime and weekends as needed, depending on vacancy and the needs of the portfolio.
