HII’s Mission Technologies division is dedicated to delivering cutting‑edge solutions that advance national security and defense objectives. This position is part of our Cyber and Intelligence division, which plays a critical role in supporting Enterprise‑Level Security and Modernization efforts across IT infrastructure, cybersecurity, physical facilities, and personnel operations.

• The selected candidate will contribute to a high‑impact government program focused on enhancing and securing mission‑critical systems and environments. The program is scheduled to launch in early 2026 and due to the classified nature of the mission and the sensitivity of the operational environment, an active TS/SCI security clearance will be required. We will be hiring several people for these roles at various levels with salary ranges outlined here:
• Network Communications 1: $58,000 - $90,000 (requires 0‑2 years and a degree)
• Network Communications 2: $69,618 - $100,000 (requires 2‑4 years and a degree)
• Network Communications 3: $86,148 - $125,000 (requires 5‑7 years and a degree)
• Network Communications 4: $104,000 - $150,000 (requires 9+ years and a degree)

• Maintain smooth operation of local area, worldwide and virtual private networks (VPN).
• Plan, evaluate, and coordinate installation and/or reconfiguration of hardware and software elements of data and/or voice communication network.
• Maintain technical expertise in all areas of networks and computer hardware and software interconnection and interfacing, such as routers, multiplexers, firewalls, hubs, bridges, gateways, etc.
• Propose solutions to management to ensure all communications requirements based on future needs and current usage, configuring such solutions to optimize cost savings.
• Prepare or ensure that appropriate network documentation exists, including operational instructions.
• Provide regular monitoring and network analysis regarding short- and long‑range planning for in‑house systems.

• Relevant industry certifications (as applicable).
• Prior experience in defense, aerospace, or government contracting.
• Proficiency with specialized tools or software aligned to the role.
• Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in multidisciplinary teams.
• Active TS/SCI government security clearance required to start.

• May require working in an office, industrial, or laboratory environment.
