This opportunity resides with Warfare Systems (WS), a business group within HII’s Mission Technologies division. Warfare Systems comprises cyber and mission IT; electronic warfare; and C5

ISR systems.

• Maintain smooth operation of local area, worldwide and virtual private networks (VPN).
• Plan, evaluate, and coordinate the installation and/or reconfiguration of hardware and software elements of data and/or voice communication network.
• Maintain technical expertise in all areas of networks and computer hardware and software interconnection and interfacing, such as routers, multiplexers, firewalls, hubs, bridges, gateways, etc.
• Propose solutions to management to ensure all communications requirements based on future needs and current usage, configuring such solutions to optimize cost savings.
• Prepare or ensure that appropriate network documentation exists, including operational instructions.
• Provide regular monitoring and network analysis regarding short‑ and long‑range planning for in‑house systems.

• NW Communications 1: 0 years of experience and a Bachelor’s Degree.
• NW Communications 2: 2+ years of experience and a Bachelor’s Degree, or 0 years experience with Master’s in related field, or high school diploma or equivalent and 6 years relevant experience.
• NW Communications 3: 5+ years of experience and a Bachelor’s Degree, or 3 years relevant experience with Master’s in related field; 0 years experience with PhD or Juris Doctorate in related field; or high school diploma or equivalent and 9 years relevant experience.
• NW Communications 4: 9+ years relevant experience with Bachelor’s in related field; 7 years relevant experience with Master’s in related field; 4 years relevant experience with PhD or Juris Doctorate in related field; or high school diploma or equivalent and 13 years relevant experience.
• Relevant industry certifications (as applicable).
• Prior experience in defense, aerospace, or government contracting.
• Proficiency with specialized tools or software aligned to the role.
• Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in multidisciplinary teams.
• Active TS/SCI government security clearance required to start.
