Duties Help
* You will manage, coordinate, and develop Windows operating systems and cybersecurity practices and standards and modify functionality to meet changing requirements on the local domain.
* You will diagnose and resolve problems in response to CMDNet incidents regarding a myriad of IT issues.
* You will ensure the application of information security and information assurance policies, principles, and practices in the delivery of service administration is in accordance with Navy and other federal guidance.
* You will install, configure, and maintain the standard CMDNet workstation and server operating systems.
* You will respond to requests for information system related difficulties, analyzing and evaluating problems, and providing immediate solutions.
* You will scan, patch and install updates and temporary fixes to existing operating systems per CMDNet cybersecurity policies and procedures.
* You will examine and evaluate alternative means of satisfying requirements at the concept and technical level.
* You will execute and implement technically feasible approaches regarding the most effective and efficient automation approaches to improve continuity of service. Requirements Help Conditions of employment

* This is a bargaining unit position.
* You will be required to obtain and maintain a current valid United States driver's license.
* This is a Cyberspace Workforce position, work role code 461, proficiency level Intermediate. The incumbent is required to obtain and maintain qualifications in DoDM 8140.03 Cyber Workforce Qualification and Department of Navy policies.
* You will be required to obtain and maintain an interim and/or final security clearance prior to entrance on duty. Failure to obtain and maintain the required level of clearance may result in the withdrawal of a job offer or removal.
* You will be required to complete training, obtain, and maintain a government credit card for travel and travel-related purchases
* Work is performed in areas where potentially harmful physical and chemical agents are present (e.g. fumes, dust, heat, ionizing and non-ionizing radiation and chemicals). You will be required to participate in medical surveillance programs.
* You will be required to obtain and maintain a U.S. Passport
* This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time
* MSP/PPP applicants must currently hold the required security clearance. Qualifications Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following:analyzing Information Technology systems to identify, anticipate, and resolve performance, availability, capacity, or configuration problems for government organizations.
