Responsibilities
  • Provide incidental engineering support and manage the total work effort for the operation and maintenance of facilities, roads, and structures.
  • Serve as subject matter expert for the review and approval of contractor plans and procedures related to facility operations, ensuring alignment with applicable regulations.
  • Review, approve, and provide guidance on scopes of work and cost proposals pertaining to maintenance, repair, and operational activities.
  • Ensure duties focus on the sustainment, restoration, and modernization of facilities, roads, structures, and associated property.
  • Collaborate with contractors, vendors, and government personnel to ensure seamless facility operations and project execution.
  • Maintain knowledge of industry trends and best practices in facility management and engineering.
  • Complete various reports and schedules such as route schedules, training agendas, attendance, evaluations, payroll, time‑keeping, accident reports, and quality control recommendations.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related field (preferably ABET accredited) or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • 3‑5 years of experience in engineering or facility management.
  • Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with ability to make sound decisions under pressure.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in project management software and other relevant technical tools.
  • Experience managing large‑scale facility operations and projects.
Physical Requirements
  • Lift and/or move up to 70 pounds.
  • Reach, kneel, walk, stand, and perform repetitive motions for several hours at a time.
  • Stand or sit for extended periods and may need to climb in and out of vehicles and stairs.
  • Work effectively under pressure for extended periods.
Requirements
  • Valid state driver’s license required and must be able to obtain and maintain coverage by Tessera’s insurance.
