ISR Installation & Modernization – Surface Ship Project Manager to join our team in Bremerton, WA. This full‑time role plays a critical part in ensuring that productive and safe work is performed on board U.S. Naval ships and military installations.
- Responsible for all aspects of field and/or task‑level project performance (technical, contractual, administrative, financial).
- Supervise personnel, assign responsibilities, oversee task completion, and maintain customer contacts to ensure contractual compliance.
- Use independent judgment and analytical skill to solve non‑routine technical, administrative, and managerial problems.
- Communicate effectively with customers, project teams, stakeholders, and leadership.
- Assess project performance, present periodic financial (EVM) status, and recommend approaches to government and corporate leadership.
- Develop mechanisms for monitoring progress and intervene to solve problems with project managers, line managers, and clients.
- Draft subcontractor documentation, including Statement of Work, Purchase Orders, invoices, and monitor work, financials, materials, and resources.
- Six (6) years of relevant progressive experience with a Bachelor’s in a related field, or four (4) years with a Master’s, or a high school diploma and ten (10) years of relevant progressive experience.
- Active SECRET security clearance.
- Six (6) years of experience in HM&E project planning and execution, including engineering, risk management, budgeting, and oversight of task progress.
- Six (6) years of experience in C4
ISR ship modernization project planning and execution, risk management, contract deliverables, budgeting, and oversight of task progress. Experience working directly with Government On Site Installation Coordinator (OSIC) leadership and Installation Team (AIT) Managers. - Four (4) or more years of specialized experience in each of the following areas:
- Leading personnel through all aspects of project recovery activity.
- Supporting Department of the Navy and/or Department of Defense quality‑management programs in a ship repair and modernization environment.
- Using blueprints to manage large‑scale cableway installations during U.S. Navy CNO shipyard availabilities.
- Managing vendors and subcontractors to support U.S. Navy CNO availability installation programs.
- Utilizing MS Project tool set to support U.S. Navy CNO availability installation programs.
- Exercising independent judgment to solve project management, technical, administrative, and managerial problems during shipyard availabilities.
- Relevant engineering experience with DON Ship Repair & Modernization authoritative ship alteration documentation (JFMM, TS , NSI).
- Relevant technical experience within DoD programs that can substitute for education.
- Project Management Certification (PMP), Agile (SCRUM), or IT Infrastructure Library (ITIL) V.4.
May be required to visit a job site in an industrial or shipboard environment. Normally not required to lift more than 40 pounds above three feet above floor level.
