American Traveler is hiring a Dialysis RN for a chronic, in-center role across multiple peninsula clinics, requiring prior dialysis experience and flexibility to work any shift.
Requirements- Active WA State RN license or Multi-State Compact RN license required
- Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association
- Minimum 1 year of nursing experience required
- Previous dialysis experience required
- Prior acute or ambulatory nursing experience preferred
- In-center chronic dialysis position covering multiple clinic locations including Bremerton, Port Orchard, Poulsbo, and occasionally Port Townsend
- Shifts are 10-13 hours, AM & PM, scheduled any day Monday through Saturday
- Must be able to work at any of the peninsula clinic locations based on staffing needs
- Must be flexible to work any shift (AM/PM) depending on staffing needs
- Oversee the delivery of dialysis treatments and patient care
- Provide patient education and supervise Dialysis Technicians
- Adjust treatment plans according to standing orders and care plans
- Monitor patient outcomes and administer medications
- Participate in quality improvement projects
- Collaborate with care team members including social workers, dietitians, and nephrologists
