Sales Merchandiser (Full Time – Bremerton, WA)

Dietz and Watson is looking for a Sales Merchandiser to support our deli operations, create brand awareness, and drive sales across multiple store locations.

• Full‑time hourly position: $23.00–$25.00 based on experience.
• Weekly payroll via Direct Deposit.
• Potential to earn overtime (5+ hours per week).
• Monthly car allowance/expense reimbursement on select travel.
• Gas card and company‑issued cell phone provided.

• Safely operate a deli slicer.
• Set up deli cases and rotate deli products.
• Understand and execute schematics/planograms.
• Maintain marketing displays using Dietz & Watson POS.
• Self‑starter who works well in a team and with little supervision.
• Manage time effectively and productively.
• Complete all necessary reports, including store surveys.
• Provide coverage to all stores within assigned territory based on ranking.
• Make regular store visits, documenting concerns and addressing them promptly.
• Build and maintain customer relationships with deli managers, staff, and customers.
• Create and market Dietz & Watson programs.
• Train new store deli hires and refresh training as needed.
• Communicate essential information to the Merchandiser Manager.
• Use monthly sales reports to achieve 100% distribution.
• Explore opportunities for sales growth with the Merchandiser Manager.
• Maintain full displays and a clean, sanitary work environment.
• Perform special projects outside of assigned territory.

• Flexibility and ability to travel (including flying) as needed – up to 30% of the time.
• Read/write in English.
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook.
• Strong communication, organization, creativity, and customization skills.
• Independent decision‑making.
• Availability to work weekends occasionally.
• High‑school diploma or equivalent.
• 1–2 years of customer service/sales experience preferred; deli experience is a plus.
• Reliable vehicle and valid driver's license.
• Valid Real  passport for travel.
• Pass company‑issued Serv Safe Manager exam.

• Stand, bend, twist; lift up to 20 lbs frequently and 50 lbs occasionally.
• Push/pull carts up to 100 lbs, walk, reach, and use both hands and arms.
• Operate a motor vehicle.
• Work in safety‑sensitive positions and refrigerated cooler areas.

• Full‑time, Entry level.
