Application Details

This is an open roster position for the  school year. Screening will be ongoing. The number of positions available will be based upon the number of regular position vacancies. Candidates selected for this pool will be eligible for open vacancies as they occur. The hours per day will vary. All bus driver positions are 180 days per year. Vacancies for temporary positions due to employee leave may become available during the year as well.

Two references must be from former or current supervisors for your application to be accepted for a given position. If you need assistance attaching files to your application, please forward them to hr or fax them to 360‑662‑1681. Include your email and phone number with the documents. We will convert the document to a .pdf file and email them to the provided address so you can attach them to the application.

  • I authorize the Central Kitsap School District to conduct a background investigation and authorize the release of information in connection with my application for employment. This investigation may include such information as criminal or civil convictions, driving records, previous employers and educational institutions, personal references, professional references, and other appropriate sources. I waive my right to access any such information and release the school district and the reference source from any liability in connection with its release or use.

    This release includes the references and former employers cited in my online application and specific examples such as data from the Washington State Patrol, the Federal Bureau of Investigation, OSPI, and other relevant sources.
