Aspen Midstream, LLC (“Aspen”) is currently seeking to add a Corporate Finance Analyst to the Dallas office. Candidates must have solid academic credentials and strong references.
Aspen is supported by capital commitments from EnCap Flatrock Midstream. Aspen is focused on natural gas and crude oil gathering, natural gas processing, natural gas treating, natural gas compression, condensate stabilization & vapor recovery, downstream NGL transportation and natural gas transmission. Aspen is based in Dallas and has a field office in Brenham, Texas.
As a member of the Finance team, the Corporate Finance Analyst plays a key role in Aspen’s FP&A, capital raising and M&A efforts. This position will report directly to the Senior Vice President – Finance & Corporate Development.
Responsibilities- Perform pro forma financial analysis and updating company corporate model throughout year
- Participate in the annual budgeting and quarterly financial forecasting process
- Support preparation of monthly/quarterly financial reporting package that is presented to management and private equity sponsor monthly. Preparation of this report will require updating actual results and the annual forecast on a monthly basis
- Support economic analysis of finance & corporate development opportunities (business development, acquisitions, divestitures, financing,etc.)
- Assist with preparing presentations for financing & corporate development proposals
- Assist with preparation of board presentations and analysis
- Support in commercial contract review, customer performance analysis and forecasting
- Maintain close working relationships with internal partners (commercial, accounting, operations and engineering groups)
- Assist in ad-hoc reporting to lenders, management and private equity sponsor
- Gather and evaluate data, including financial and operational information, developing projections and valuation analyses
- Support the Finance team in responding to requests from customers, commercial & investment banks, outside counsel and Aspen’s private equity sponsor
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, economics or other relevant business degree
- 0-1 year of related work experience, with preference given to experience in oil & gas / midstream / energy infrastructure industry
- Must be proficient with MS Excel and Power Point
- Knowledge of cash flow modeling & primary valuation methodologies
- Self-starter with ability to learn quickly and meet tight deadlines
- Demonstrates analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Highly organized with the ability to perform multiple tasks
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
