Overview

A background in cold calling customers in pharmaceuticals, medical device sales, hospital, home health, hospice or long‑term care is ideal.

- Salary: $75,000 – $85,000 plus bonus potential

Benefit eligibility can vary by position depending on shift status. To participate, you must be enrolled in an Amedisys medical plan.
Responsibilities- Educate health care professionals, patients, and families about home care services.
- Develop and maintain relationships with key referral sources, such as hospitals, nursing homes and physician offices to generate leads.
- Coordinate patient admissions with the team, including obtaining all required documentation to complete referral to admission process.
- Conduct on-site visits to assess patient needs and identify barriers to care.
- Keep accurate records of patient interactions and referrals.
- Achieve admissions, product, and payor‑mix goals.
- Meet short and long‑term target account goals.
- Document the minimum expectation of sales calls daily in CRM (including pre and post call notes).
- Maintain a complete, up-to‑date record of targeted referral sources in territory in CRM.
- Attend community events to promote Amedisys.
- Respond to customer complaints in a timely manner.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- At least one year of experience in a healthcare related business development/outreach role. A bachelor’s degree is preferred, but not required.
- Reliable transportation, current driver’s license, and liability insurance.

This role will travel 50% or more within the assigned territory.
