Student Worker - Band

The Blinn College District is searching for a Student Worker - Band at our Brenham Campus.

Job Summary

Assist the band needs and duties as requested by instrumental music faculty.

Principal Accountabilities

Monitor band hall activities during hours outside of normal work day and on weekends

File and copy music for class meetings

Set up rooms for daily class activities

Set up concert venues for performances

Other duties as assigned by instrumental music faculty

Minimum Qualifications / Required Degree, License or Certifications

Must be currently enrolled in a performing ensemble as an instrumentalist.

Must be federal work study eligible

Must be a full time student at Blinn (this includes all campuses and internet courses)

Minimum Competencies

Basic computer skills on Microsoft Office programs such as Word and Excel

Basic knowledge of copier/scanner use and operation

Preferred Qualities Preferred Competencies

Experience as a student worker or office aide

Instrumental faculty recommendation

Advance computer skills on Microsoft Office programs

Special Notes To Applicants

Light lifting (under 15 lbs.), light carrying (under 15 lbs.), simple grasping, walking, sitting, operating office equipment, counting, reading, telling time.
