Nurse Practitioner OR Physician Assistant

Compensation: $85.00 / hour
DescriptionPhysician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner needed for Washington County! Schedule consists of 6 hours per week to assist in medication management and urgent intervention. Join the team as an independent contractor to help provide for the inmates of Washington County.
- On-call 24/7 stipend of $250.00/week (rarely called)
- Base hourly rate of $85/hour
- Flexible
Schedule:
Generally 1 day/week (it can be on a weekend!) - Coverage by Med Trust malpractice insurance
Serve in a crisis, emergency/urgent intervention and medication management for the patients of Washington County Sheriff's office jail.
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise- Valid, unencumbered Physician’s Assistant or Nurse Practitioners license in the state of TX
- Valid BLS – Must be Red Cross or American Heart Association
- Valid DEA
- Current PPD, Quanti
FERON, or CXR - Must have your own supervising physician
