• Provide superior fast, fresh, and friendly customer service in a fast‑paced restaurant environment.
• Prep ingredients for the kitchen and maintain department and food safety/sanitation standards.
• Cook, slice, dice, chop, and prepare food according to recipe specifications and SOPs.
• Prepackage condiments (sauces, dressings) for prepared food items.
• Complete tasks at the assigned work station and assist in multiple cooking venues.
• Assist with technical areas and catering orders as needed.
• Comply with H‑E‑B food safety and sanitation standards, properly handle temperature integrity of all ingredients, product, and equipment.
• Maintain sanitation in food preparation areas and operate equipment safely.
• Provide internal customer service and assist guests as needed.

• Culinary certification or equivalent culinary training/work experience preferred.
• Experience in food prep and equipment.
• High‑school diploma or equivalent; minimum age 18.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to execute high‑volume production and keep open availability for rotating shifts, including frequent evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Physical ability to lift up to 55 lbs, and manage in excess of 80 lbs with a team lift.
• Read, write, and understand nutritional values and ingredients.

• Function in a fast‑paced retail environment.
• Work extended hours and/or rotating schedules.
• Safely maneuver around moving mechanical parts.
• Stand, reach, grasp, walk, bend, stoop, squat, crouch, kneel, climb stairs, pivot, twist, push/pull with arms, pinch, and perform fine‑motor movements as required.
• Stand and reach 5.5+ hours per 8‑hour day; frequently 2.5–5.5 hours; occasionally 0–2.5 hours.
• Exposed to fumes, airborne particles, toxic or caustic materials, wet, cold, heat, ambient temperatures, and loud noise.
