Hard‑working, night‑owl partners are needed to keep H‑E‑B shelves stocked and organized during overnight hours. This role offers a built‑in workout and the possibility of career growth within the company.

• Stock shelves, refill displays, and condition products.
• Unload trucks, lift heavy and bulky items, and transfer goods within the store.
• Apply product knowledge (e.g., rotation dates, shelf and label info) and maintain A+ standards.
• Keep department clean and well‑organized, including back rooms.
• Comply with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and lead direction.
• Meet federal, state, and company regulations for food safety and sanitation.
• Work efficiently with a team attitude and meet productivity standards.
• Accept constructive feedback and use it for future tasks.
• Coach or train other stockers when needed.
• Operate with a customer‑service mindset and assist customers in locating products.
• Maintain cross‑functional relationships (e.g., Curbside).

• Minimum age 18.
• Experience in stocking and customer service (preferred).
• Experience in a physically demanding job (plus).
• Forklift or power jack training provided on hire.

• Understanding of SOPs and emergency procedures.
• Strong communication—reading and writing.
• Organization and time‑management.
• Customer‑service orientation.
• Ability to perform repetitive, physical tasks including heavy lifting.
• Agility and quick thinking.
• Teamwork to meet nightly goals.
• Manage multiple priorities and shift focus as needed.
• Work overnight shifts, including weekends and holidays.

Work requires frequent standing, walking, bending, reaching, and occasional lifting up to 100 lbs. Various departments have specific requirements:

• Grocery
  : up to 50 lbs (manage >100 lbs); exposure to cold, noise, and wet conditions.
• Drugstore
  : up to 66 lbs (manage >50 lbs); exposure to noise and wet conditions.
• Dairy
  : up to 86 lbs (manage >100 lbs); constant cold exposure.
• Frozen
  : up to 60 lbs (manage >100 lbs); constant cold exposure.
• General Merchandise
  : up to 60 lbs (manage >60 lbs); exposure to noise and wet conditions.
