POSITION OVERVIEWThe Inside Sales Representative is responsible for developing and maintaining existing customer relationships, generating sales opportunities and meeting or exceeding sales targets for identified customers. This role involves managing the entirety of the customer relationship. Providing exceptional customer service and promoting company products or services. The ISR will handle all aspects of the account from order entry, order communication, opportunity advancement and issue resolution.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES- Manage identified book of business
- Proactive communication on a routine basis
- Solicit and enter orders
- Product description and recommendation
- Conduct outbound calls, emails, and other forms of outreach to identify and qualify sales leads.
- Responding to inbound inquiries within 4 hours and professionally to convert leads into customers.
- Understand customer needs and recommend appropriate products to meet those needs.
- Provide product presentations/information to effectively communicate benefits and features.
- Determine sales path (direct or wholesaler) to close sales successfully.
- Maintain detailed and accurate records of all sales activities in CRM.
- Collaborate with Marketing, Customer Service, Accounting, Sales and other teams to ensure seamless customer experience.
- Meet or exceed monthly, quarterly and annual sales targets.
- Stay up to date on product knowledge, industry trends, and competitor offerings.
- Handle customer complaints or objections with professionalism and resolve issues effectively and efficiently.
- Maintain social media presence on Facebook and Linked In.
- Any additional duties assigned by supervisor.
- Monthly outbound call volume
- Achieve sales targets for identified customers
- Completion of monthly reports
- High School degree required, bachelor's degree preferred
- Previous experience in a customer-facing role
- Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office.
- Proficiency in CRM software and other sales tools.
Self-motivated with a results-driven approach.
Must be able to sit and stand for extended periods
