Working hours:

Mon-Thurs 9-5.30pm and Fri 9-5pm

Contract:

Full-time, Permanent We're looking for a talented Management Accountant to join a leading research organisation and play a key role in delivering accurate financial reporting, robust controls, and meaningful financial insight. This is a great opportunity to join a finance team undergoing positive change and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities Prepare management accounts and supporting schedules. Support month-end processes, including accruals and prepayments. Complete monthly balance sheet reconciliations and investigate discrepancies. Review financial transactions to ensure accurate analysis and coding. Assist with the preparation of annual budgets. Support internal and external audit processes. Maintain accurate financial reporting schedules and timetables. Build effective working relationships across the organisation. Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the finance function.

What you'll bring A recognised accountancy qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent)

Experience with in a charity, not-for-profit, research, grant-funded or commercial environment
