EYFS Teaching Assistant

Location: Neasden

Horizon Teachers are looking for a caring and dedicated Early Years Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming Nursery School in Brent on a long-term basis. This is a full-time role and the hours are 8:30 – 4pm.

You will be supporting children aged 3-4 years old, helping them engage through play-based learning, daily routines, and social development, in line with the EYFS Framework. You will also be supporting pupils with SEND on a 1:1 basis, as well as generally supporting the whole class.

The ideal candidate will:

Have experience working with EYFS or Primary aged children
Be patient, nurturing, and passionate about Early Years education
Be confident supporting learning through play, both 1:1 and in small groups
Have experience supporting children with additional needs or challenging behaviour
Have good communication and teamwork skills
Be reliable, enthusiastic, and positive in their approach
Any Childcare Qualifications are a bonus!
