A supportive and well-resourced mainstream school in Brent is seeking dedicated Supply SEN Teaching Assistants to join their team. This is a rewarding opportunity to provide flexible support to pupils with a range of additional needs in a structured and nurturing environment.

About the Role

As a Supply SEN Teaching Assistant, you will:

• Provide 1:1 and small group support in line with EHCP outcomes

• Assist with communication strategies such as visual supports, Makaton, PECS, or AAC

• Support sensory, structured, and differentiated learning activities

• Promote emotional regulation, independence, and positive engagement

• Provide personal care and mobility support where required

• Work collaboratively with teachers, therapists, and the wider SEN team

• Maintain a safe, calm, and inclusive learning environment

• Work across mainstream primary schools as required, supporting different settings and adapting to varied pupil needs

About You

• Experience supporting children or young people with SEN

• Patient, compassionate, and resilient approach

• Strong communication and teamwork skills

• Comfortable supporting personal care or physical needs if required

• Flexible, reliable, and confident adapting to new schools and environments

• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply via Uniform Education)
