Financial Controller | £70,000  Bonus | Preston | PE-Backed Business | Route to FD Axon Moore is delighted to be partnering with a rapidly growing, PE-backed SME as they look to appoint a Financial Controller into their finance team. Having grown significantly recently, the focus is now firmly on driving value from within the existing Group - identifying synergies, improving performance and building a best-in-class finance function that can genuinely partner with the wider business.

This is a key hire for the CFO and will suit an ambitious individual stepping up into a Financial Controller role for the first time, who is looking for more than a traditional month-end role. You will have significant scope to improve processes, systems, reporting and the wider finance function, whilst working closely with operational stakeholders across a complex, multi-site organisation.

Reporting to the CFO, you will take ownership of the core financial control environment whilst playing a broader role in improving the performance and effectiveness of the Group. You will lead a finance team, with responsibility for developing them and creating a more efficient, high-performing finance function.
