You will be responsible for carrying out inspections, recording findings accurately and communicating any concerns quickly to the relevant teams.
You will also support quality checks within the warehouse and respond to product concerns, rejections and customer-related issues.

Clearly communicate quality concerns and findings to team leaders, management and other departments. Take appropriate action where stock does not meet requirements, including placing products on hold or arranging further checks, chilling or reselection where necessary.
Carry out additional and more detailed product inspections when requested. Inspect finished goods within the warehouse and assess stock following customer complaints, rejections or warnings. We are looking for someone who is:
Highly organised with excellent attention to detail. Confident working in a fast-paced environment where priorities can change quickly. A strong communicator, both verbally and in writing. Comfortable working as part of a team while also using their own initiative. Confident enough to challenge decisions or practices where product quality or compliance could be affected. Able to make sound decisions and take ownership of quality-related issues.
Proactive in identifying potential problems and suggesting improvements. Professional and reliable in their approach to work. Comfortable working to agreed shift patterns, including nights where required. Previous experience within quality assurance, food production, fresh produce, technical, warehouse quality control or a similar environment would be advantageous. If you have a keen eye for detail, enjoy working in a quality-focused environment and are confident making decisions, we would love to hear from you.
