Cover Supervisor – Great Barr Are you an enthusiastic Cover Supervisor looking for your next opportunity in a supportive secondary school? Winner Education are working with a secondary school in the Great Barr area who are seeking a confident and reliable Cover Supervisor to join their team. This is a fantastic opportunity to supervise classes across Key Stages 3 and 4, ensuring students remain engaged and on task in the absence of their usual teacher. What You'll Do:
Supervise whole classes during the short-term absence of teaching staff Deliver pre-planned lessons and ensure students remain focused on their work Maintain a positive and productive classroom environment Manage classroom behaviour in line with the school's policies Provide feedback to teaching staff on student progress and behaviour Support the wider school team where required

What We're Looking For:

Previous experience working in a UK secondary school as a Cover Supervisor, Teaching Assistant, or similar role Confident managing classrooms across a range of subjects Strong communication and interpersonal skills Excellent behaviour management skills The ability to work independently and adapt to different classroom environments A degree or relevant education experience is desirable but not essential Why Winner Education?
