Morgan Hunt is delighted to be working with leading Further Education colleges in London to recruit experienced English Lecturers on a temporary, ongoing basis. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced and motivated professional to deliver high-quality English education and support learners in achieving their academic and career goals.
Location: London
Salary: Negotiable
Contract: Temporary / Ongoing
Start Date: Immediate or after notice period
Hours: Full-time / Part-time
Interview: ASAP
- Deliver engaging English lessons to Further Education students.
- Teach English across relevant levels, including GCSE and Functional Skills.
- Plan, prepare and deliver lessons in line with curriculum requirements.
- Assess learner work and provide timely, constructive feedback.
- Monitor learner progress and maintain accurate records.
- Support learners with different abilities and learning needs.
- Prepare schemes of work, lesson plans and teaching materials.
- Contribute to curriculum development and quality improvement.
- Support learners with their academic and personal development.
- Ensure safeguarding, equality and college policies are followed.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to support positive learner outcomes.
We're looking for someone who has:
- Experience teaching English within Further Education or a similar setting.
- Strong subject knowledge in English.
- Experience delivering GCSE and/or Functional Skills English.
- Excellent communication, classroom management and organisational skills.
- The ability to engage and motivate learners.
- Experience assessing learner work and providing effective feedback.
- A genuine passion for supporting students to achieve their potential.
- A relevant teaching qualification would be desirable.
