Shift: Monday to Friday 7:30am to 4:00pm Job Type: Permanent | Full-time Aircraft Engine Technicians Required Quest Employment are currently recruiting Aircraft Engine Technicians for Gas Turbine Engines for a growing aerospace engineering company based in Warwick that specialises in gas turbine engine repair and supply. This is an excellent opportunity to join an expanding business with ambitious growth plans over the next five years.
The company is seeking motivated individuals who are looking to develop their careers and become part of the next generation of skilled fitters, mechanics, inspectors and engineers.
The Role As an Engine Technician, you will work as part of an engine team and your duties may include:
Assisting with the inspection of gas turbine engine components Assisting with the strip-down and disassembly of engines Supporting the rebuild and assembly of gas turbine engines Assisting with engine testing activities Learning common fault diagnostics and repair solutions Following technical manuals, instructions and engineering procedures Using specialist tools and equipment safely and effectively Maintaining high standards of quality, safety and workmanship Working closely with engineers and technicians across the business Travelling away from site when required Key Skills and Experience We are looking for candidates who:
Have a recognised engineering apprenticeship (or relevant industry experience) Possess good hand skills and familiarity with engineering tools Can read and understand technical manuals and instructions Have excellent attention to detail and a methodical approach to work Are self-motivated and able to work as part of a team Have a positive, can-do attitude and willingness to learn Are physically fit and able to spend long periods standing Have good computer literacy skills Can communicate effectively across all levels of the business Understand the importance of following Health & Safety procedures
Desirable Experience Previous experience within the aviation industry Gas turbine engine repair shop experience Experience carrying out deep strip, inspection and build of gas turbine engines Previous aerospace engineering experience
