Want to build something that doesn’t exist yet - and see it change the business in real time?
The OpportunitySafetykleen has recently completed a major ERP migration and we’re now in the next phase: turning our data into sharper decisions and better customer outcomes.
We’re hiring a Group Customer Insights & Reporting Specialist to build the foundations of our customer journey reporting across Safetykleen - helping us measure and improve customer health, satisfaction, service performance, and retention.
This is a hands-on, technical role where you’ll use Power BI and SQL to design scalable reporting solutions and data models, working closely with stakeholders across the business. You’ll sit in a central team and shape how markets understand performance - with a clear line of sight from insight → action → impact.
If you’re excited by customer data, end-to-end journey visibility, and building modern analytics in a growing global organisation, this is a standout opportunity.
About UsAt Safetykleen, we provide essential parts cleaning, waste collection and environmental advisory services that help customers reduce their environmental footprint and boost operational performance.
With operations in 15 countries and over 1 million services delivered each year, you’ll be joining a stable, growing business with a fast-paced, high-impact and agile environment, where sustainability and long-term customer partnerships are at the heart of what we do.
The Package- £60,000 – £65,000 salary per annum (depending on experience)
- Company bonus (10%)
- 5% Contributory Pension scheme
- Family life assurance (3x salary)
- Private healthcare from day 1
- Enhanced maternity and paternity pay
- Cycle to work scheme
- Learning and career development support (internal + external courses)
- Employee recognition programme
- Retail discounts and cashback
- Employee Assistance Programme with 24/7 confidential helpline
You’re a hands-on BI specialist who can build end-to-end Power BI reporting that leaders trust and use.
You have:- Strong Power BI skills: data modelling, DAX measures, performance optimisation
- Strong SQL: extracting, shaping and validating data for reporting
- Experience reporting from Dynamics 365 Customer Engagement (CE) (customer/service journey data)
- Confidence partnering with stakeholders to turn questions into clear KPIs and dashboards
- Microsoft Fabric / modern data platform exposure
- Customer analytics: retention/churn, NPS/CSAT, SLA/service performance
- Predictive / risk scoring experience (early-stage is fine)
- Data governance awareness (definitions, access, consistency)
Important:
This is a BI & reporting role - not Dynamics configuration, plugins, or software engineering.
- Take ownership of reporting requirements focused on the end-to-end customer journey: customer health, satisfaction and retention.
- Build dashboards and KPI reporting that help teams understand what drives churn, loyalty, and service delivery outcomes.
- Create clear reporting that connects performance across touchpoints (commercial → onboarding → service delivery → ongoing relationship).
- Define and implement KPIs such as NPS, customer satisfaction, service completion vs SLAs, and leading indicators of risk.
- Work with stakeholders to agree what “good” looks like and create consistent measures that markets can adopt.
- Design and build robust analytical models using SQL and Power BI (semantic models, measures, governance-ready definitions).
- Ensure reporting is built on common group standards with consistent methodology and definitions.
- Work with Dynamics 365 CE / Dataverse data to ensure reporting is accurate, usable, and aligned to how the business operates.
- Partner with technical colleagues to ensure scalable data structures and reliable reporting pipelines.
- Support our transition toward Microsoft Fabric, contributing to the development of a modern data platform (including medallion-style architecture where applicable).
- Help explore and enable predictive insight (e.g., risk scoring / churn prediction) using data-led patterns and, where appropriate, machine learning approaches.
- Partner with central and market stakeholders to understand needs, prioritise delivery, and iterate reporting based on adoption and impact.
- Enable local market analysts with a consistent approach while balancing local requirements.
Safetykleen is committed to creating an inclusive workplace and is an equal opportunity employer.
