Caretaker, Building Maintenance, Maintenance Technician ​/ Mechanic

Job Title:

Caretaker

We are looking for an experienced Caretaker, with strong experience in cleaning and carrying out low level maintenance tasks (non-skilled).

The role

Ensuring the sites are clean and well maintained, helping customers with anything they may need and and to carry out any other work requested by the Area Manager.

This role is full-time, working 5 days out of 7, with some weekend and bank holiday working. There will be travel between the 3 stores in Chiswick, Brentford and Isleworth.

Who we re looking for

• Willing and able to work independently; basic knowledge of maintenance is essential

• Happy to carry out cleaning tasks and keep the site clean and well maintained at all times

• Experience of operating a counterbalance Forklift Truck licence (Highly Desireable)

• Excellent communication and customer service skills

• Good customer services skills, with a friendly, helpful nature and a genuine willingness to provide high levels of customer services.

Site Management

• Using own initiative; complete all reasonable maintenance and repairs

Maintenance and Administration

• Take pride in the site and maintain excellent standards

• Carry out basic maintenance tasks on a daily basis, including painting, cleaning and small DIY jobs

• Keep the site safe and healthy for staff and customers

• Keep company systems, policies and procedures running smoothly
