), this position offers the flexibility to match your work‑life balance needs, with core hours from 9am to 5pm, Monday to Friday. Prefer different hours? Options like 8am to 6pm for a four‑day week, or other variations, including part‑time work, are available.

What you will do
  • Conduct Core Assessments, pre‑birth assessments, and risk assessments.
  • Perform Section 47 Child Protection investigations.
  • Draft and deliver statements for court proceedings.
  • Complete Section 7 and 37 reports for the court.
  • Represent the authority by providing evidence in court.
  • Conduct home visits to monitor and safeguard children.
  • Maintain accurate and up‑to‑date case records.
  • Organise and lead core group meetings.
  • Collaborate closely with other professionals to provide comprehensive support.
  • Execute joint investigations and interviews with the police.
  • Start and manage care proceedings.
  • Implement and review Care Plans.
  • Supervise contact sessions.
  • Prepare detailed case conference reports.
  • Attend case conferences and strategy meetings.
  • Develop and oversee Child in Need plans.
