Audit and Accounts Role – Shenfield

Salary: £27,000–£35,000 (depending on experience)

Location: Shenfield

Contract: Office-based, full-time

We are recruiting for an Audit and Accounts professional to join a well‑established firm based in Shenfield. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with experience in practice accounting who is looking to develop their career within a supportive and professional environment.

• Prepare accounts for a range of clients
• Assist with audit work from planning through to completion
• Manage existing client relationships and help onboard new clients
• Liaise directly with clients to ensure excellent service delivery
• Support the team in delivering accurate and timely financial information

• Experience working within a practice accounting firm (essential)
• Part-qualified, qualified, or studying towards a professional accounting qualification (ACA, ACCA, or equivalent)
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and audit processes
• Excellent communication and client management skills
• Ability to work effectively in an office‑based team environment
