The Brentwood Board of Education encourages parents/guardians and other members of the community to share their time, knowledge and abilities with our students. Community volunteers in our schools and activities enrich the total education program and strengthen our schools’ relationships with homes, businesses, public agencies and private institutions. Examples of volunteers include persons who regularly assist in the office or library, mentor or tutor students, coach or supervise a school-sponsored activity before or after school, or chaperone students on a trip.
- Volunteer Sports Coach/Activity Advisor – Regularly assists a paid coach or advisor in a sport or other extracurricular activity. Volunteer coaches or advisors work directly with students on activities and techniques. A volunteer sports coach or advisor may be asked to assume the responsibilities of a paid coach or advisor in an emergency.
