Licensed Clinical Therapist (LMFT, LCSW, LPCC)

Connect with Boomerang Healthcare to provide direct psychological clinical services to injured workers. The role involves initial assessments, case management, psychoeducation, and both individual and group psychotherapy within a pain clinic setting.

Compensation: Base pay range $/yr – $/yr.

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 am‑5:00 pm.

• Provide individual therapy to adult clients in an outpatient pain clinic.
• Conduct weekly psycho educational classes for participants in the Functional Restoration Program (FRP).
• Offer brief individual therapy to FRP participants and assess clinical progress.
• Perform assessment and treatment planning for active caseload.
• Deliver clinical care informed by best practices in pain psychology.
• Refer clients to other modalities within the clinic as needed.
• Document all client care in the EMR system.
• Ensure compliance with all legal and ethical standards.
• Assume additional responsibilities as required.

• California license: LMFT, LCSW, or LPCC.
• Experience assessing and treating chronic pain patients.
• Proficiency in CBT, ACT, and mindfulness‑oriented interventions.
• Trauma background; EMDR experience is a plus.
• Familiarity with an integrated therapeutic approach for chronic pain/trauma populations.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to establish rapport with patients, families, professionals, and colleagues.
• Sound judgment when working with patients.
