Senior Accountant

The ideal candidate will be responsible for the general accounting functions for the Behavioral Health Service Line that includes processing and preparing accounting data. This position is also responsible for formulating and analyzing various operations and financial reports.

• Pay: $40.00 Per Hour
• Shift: Monday-Friday, 8 hours/day. Some weekend work required depending on the month-end close calendar.

• Responsible for direct accounting responsibility for BH ledgers that includes monthly journal entries, analyses and balance sheet reconciliations
• Prepare monthly reconciliation of Balance Sheet accounts including documentation to support balances
• Prepares and reviews Accounts Payable transactions including Referral Source Check Requests
• Tax work paper, cost report, and audit paperwork preparation
• Monitor shared inbox and respond to inquiries from both internal and external parties in a timely and professional manner
• Maintain daily reporting systems
• Ensures that privileged and proprietary information is safeguarded against disclosure
• Practice and adhere to the Code of Conduct and Mission and Value Statement
• Other duties as assigned

• 3+ years of experience
• Must be proficient in Microsoft Office products
• Communicate clearly and concisely both verbally and in writing.
