Senior Accountant Consultant: Global Close & Inter

Tatum by Randstad is seeking to identify a high-performing Senior Accountant to join their client's Finance & Accounting team in Brentwood, TN (4 days in office, 1 day remote).

As a key contributor, you will drive core month-end close processes, oversee global subsidiary accounting, handle complex intercompany transactions, and lead continuous improvement initiatives across critical accounting operations.

• Month-End Close Leadership:
  Lead and coordinate monthly, quarterly, and year-end close cycles in full compliance with GAAP, corporate policies, and internal controls.
• High-Volume Accounting Operations:
  Manage high-volume accruals, prepaids amortization, lease accounting, and fixed asset schedules with exceptional accuracy and attention to detail.
• Intercompany & Subsidiary Accounting:
  Oversee complex global intercompany transactions, balancing, and intercompany eliminations across multiple international entities and relationships.
• Financial Analysis & Reporting:
  Prepare, review, and analyze monthly and quarterly financial reporting packages for executive management and key stakeholders.
• Process Optimization:
  Serve as a thought leader by evaluating close workflows, driving automation, enhancing internal controls, and implementing policies that reduce risk and elevate operational efficiency.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration:
  
  Partner with global cross-functional teams to resolve complex close items, streamline multi-location workflows, and support strategic corporate initiatives.
• Audit & Project Support:
  Facilitate smooth internal and external audit processes to ensure clean, timely year-end sign-offs. Lead special accounting projects and department initiatives as assigned.

• Education:
  
  Bachelor's degree in Accounting (CPA or CPA track strongly preferred).
• Experience:
  
  3+ years of general ledger accounting experience, ideally within a large, complex, or global corporate environment. Public accounting experience is a plus.
• Core Technical Expertise:
  Strong technical accounting background with hands-on proficiency in high-volume accruals, prepaids, fixed assets, and multi-entity intercompany eliminations.
• Software
  
  Skills:
  
  Advanced Excel skills required; proficiency or adaptability with enterprise ERP systems and financial automation tools.
• Professional Attributes:
  Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and highly organized with the ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Communication & Leadership:
  Strong interpersonal skills with a proven track record of collaborating effectively with cross-functional business leaders and international teams.
