• Build and leverage carrier relationships
• Identify and analyze client exposures to recommend and/or design risk transfer/financing products
• Work with producers to build and place complex accounts in the market
• Negotiate the most favorable terms and conditions
• Market customer business, typically of higher complexity, to a variety of insurance carriers
• Ensure thorough evaluation of qualified companies in the marketplace independently, referring only unusual questions to management
• Receive requests for quotations from account personnel
• Identify appropriate carriers, send requests, negotiate favorable quotes, and prepare recommendations
• Participate in development of department policies and procedures and implement them in assigned area
• Position may be a work leader or supervisor with responsibilities for assigning, prioritizing, and monitoring work of less senior specialists

Bachelor's degree and 6 years related experience required

Preferred:
Professional designation preferred, such as CPCU, CIC or ARM.

The actual compensation will be influenced by a wide range of factors including, but not limited to previous experience, education, pay market/geography, complexity or scope, specialized skill set, lines of business/practice area, supply/demand, and scheduled hours.
