We also use a thorough set of diagnostic tools to gather information about patients' smile, gums, and teeth. These tools will provide us ways to communicate with patients about the possibilities for their smile. Dental Assistants are an integral member of our team and help foster our clinically led culture. Compensation: $22‑26/Hour

• Assist the dentist during a variety of treatment procedures while helping patients feel comfortable
• Set up and breakdown operatory post treatment
• Take dental radiographs (x‑rays)
• Manage infection control by preparing and sterilizing instruments and equipment
  
  Provide patients with follow‑up instructions following all dental treatment procedures
• Educate patients on appropriate oral hygiene strategies to maintain oral health

• Dental Assistant Certificate where state regulations specify
• X‑ray certification where state regulations specify

This is a clinical working environment where potential exposure to hazardous waste and blood‑borne pathogens is possible. Requires prolonged periods of standing, sitting, leaning, and bending up to 8 hours a day. Will be required to carry, transport, and use tools and equipment. Must be able to lift 15 pounds at times.
