We are seeking an experienced Senior Traffic Project Manager to support our East Gulf Region in Brentwood/Nashville, Knoxville, Chattanooga, or Memphis, TN. Candidates outside Tennessee must be willing to relocate.
What You’ll Be Doing Project Types- Traffic operations analysis, signal design, timing development, corridor planning, safety studies, roadway master planning, transportation modeling (micro and macro)
- Develops Project Execution Plan (PEP) including team organization, tasks, schedule, and resource estimates
- Conducts project kick-off meetings
- Ensures quality reviews and documentation
- Coordinates project closure and document retention
- Maintains client contact and discusses technical/scheduling issues
- Leads project staff meetings and reviews progress
- Prepares project reviews and progress reports
- Reviews revenue, A/R, and WIP reports
- Ensures technical design conformity
- Addresses scheduling or technical problems with management
- Evaluates scope changes and negotiates fees
- Prepares invoicing documentation
- Maintains client accounts and collections
- Contributes to business development and maintains client relationships
- B.S. or M.S. in Civil Engineering
- PE license (Tennessee preferred)
- 15-20 years relevant experience (TDOT experience preferred)
- PTOE, PTP, RSP certifications (desired)
- Proficiency with traffic engineering and planning tools (Synchro, VISSIM, SIDRA, HCS, Open Roads)
- Familiarity with CUBE Voyager and Trans
CAD (desired) - Proficiency with MS Office
- Ability to pass drug screening, valid driver’s license, good MVR
- Strong communication, initiative, and teamwork skills
